The Semester follows four best friends over the fall semester of their senior year at the fictional College of Northern California in the mid 2010's. Brought together by their sorority, Beta Alpha Tau, their friendship is tested as their once perfect sisterhood is dismantled piece by piece. Keeping shameful secrets, creating new identities, striving for perfection, and dreading life outside Beta's royal purple and pale lilac walls, all four women must grapple with not only the real world, but also themselves. They’ll have to fight to stay together or let their bonds break apart. The Semester speaks to the enduring power of female friendships and the growing pains of womanhood in transition.
